D&B Consulting was started by Don Yip and Brent Hellickson. We both have a background in the audit of financial statements in various industries, from small companies to large. This experience has allowed us to gain a unique perspective of how an audit works, inside and out. We understand what auditors typically look for when engaged to audit financial statements.

Throughout our time in public accounting, we noted similar characteristics from several of our clients, namely stress and lack of organization. For many it was because they've never been audited before, for others it was because they never had the resources to be prepared. It didn't matter if it was the CFO or the staff accountant, the stress and unpreparedness was evident from the top down.
